Audi are describing the issue as wear and tear even after owning the vehicle for 12 months and opening the sunroof maybe three times

 

It's a known issue Audi Warrington are talking BS!

 

Update: AudiUK contacted me Friday. They are offering a 3 way split as goodwill, AudiUK/Audi Warrington and myself going 1/3 each to repair the sunroof, dry out / replace all carpets. Is that not an admission of liability.

 

This is a common problem across the VAG group, mine did the same I found it was 2 drain holes at the front of the panoramic roof, I blew mine out with an air line, it resolved the problem.

My lad was a master tech for VW it’s a known issue across VW & Audi, mine had the same issue, there are 2 drain holes at the from of the panoramic roof, mine where blocked, I blew them out with an airline and solved the problem.

 

Not my old car mate. Mine is still in the garage, no updates from Audi. I am now seeking legal advice.

 

This problem has been occurring for almost a decade. Sometimes it is blocked drainage holes and sometimes a sunroof fitting problem. The fitting problem requires the existing sunroof to be completely removed and a new one fitted. I have heard of a 'cheat' where a piece of rubber is inserted at the front edges of the sunroof.

 

Many Thanks for the information. Q3 still with Audi Warrington, no courtesy car. No updates. Customer service is a joke. Tip for anyone buying an Audi “Do not trust Stratstone Audi Warrington” been informed other dealerships sort the problem, but Warrington have flat refused.
