Any 5W-30 grade oil which meets the VW spec 504.00 / 507.00 is OK

My dealer uses Castrol Edge if that's any help. Probably super expensive in the shops, but I doubt it exceeds the £28 a litre the dealer charges!

 

My Audi dealer in Do, DE used Shell Helix. I think it might be safely suggested as an official broth alternative.
