Hi all firstly new to this forum although a member of the auditt forum with my little 05 TT, so we have bought a Q3 2017 a cat S run you say! It’s ok yes its has its scars but we like it.
any way the washer bottle empty light came up.....filled it up and still on, done. A few checks and seem a little fussy so took the plug off linked it out and light is out on dash. Bingo I thought but no the washers still don’t work pump is not running. Checked the connection ok so checked the power and no 12v when pulling the switch.
They were working fine!
this is what I have at the mo
start the car pull the stalk ...... wipers work as clearing water then stop no pump and no power
wipers stop .....they will not work after first pull any more until ignition turned off.
rear wiper works ok but no pump running
with the link out of the level sensor is light comes on
with the link in no warning light.
have any of you any ideas, relays connections or what ever as I know these things seem to be straight forward but with all new cars strange things can affect something else.
had a look through many posts and can’t find anything at mo that is the same issue?
