I don't know what it means exactly, but I checked mine and it also says Status 3.

I disconnect the camera from the box and got the status 6 and camera sync fail.
When I connect the camera again status restore.
So now I started the calibrate again.
Still 0x0003.
Try to lab with different distance from weel center to the vas tool.

Hi all.
Now I have calibrate and got final 0x0000 calibrate suggses.
BUT still not rear view at the mmi display.
?
The camera fond the vas tool.
But no rear view.
Any hint?

It sounds like the camera module is "seeing" the camera, but it is not displaying in the MMI. Are you sure you coded 5F correctly?

Please forgive me if you are familiar with long coding, but did you change Byte 7, Bit 1 to 1? Bit 1 is the second digit from the right. The first one on the right is Bit 0, then Bit 1, then Bit 2, etc.

It seems strange that all bits are 1. I will check mine tomorrow and report back.

Here is my 5F Byte 7 coding, which doesn't look as if there is a significant difference to yours. I'm at a bit of a loss if you have coded everything else correctly.

Thanks, The MMI main unit get the graphic signal form the box as shown in the picture. But the camera view is not shoing in the MMI.But the camera see the VAS tool ??

The graphic symbol comes from the MMI and the parking sensor control unit gives the distance lines from the parking sensors - the graphic is not coming from the camera control unit.

Do you have parking sensors? If not, set 6C coding to 1000015.
If you have parking sensors, set 6C coding to 1020015.

In your previous post, you said it was 1020004, which is incorrect.

I have connected the CAN wire from the camera box to the CAN connect at the front on pin 19 high and low. This this the right pins?
I have read that somewhere, but I can't find it for now.

It would be good if you could get the Kaufatec instructions. Did you buy the parts from there, or can anyone oblige?

Hi.I have now talked to Audi service .They says the I have an 4 channel parking sensor system installed but this system needs a 8 channel system installet to work.Alla criterias must be forfilled before this rear view is shown.

What is the part number of your parking module shown on VCDS?

Here is the information from mine for comparison:
<blockquote>Address 10: Park/Steer Assist (J446) Labels: 8X0-919-475.clb
Part No SW: 8X0 919 475 AB HW: 4H0 919 475 AG
Component: PARKHILFE 8K H01 0060
Revision: 11001001 Serial number: 61031323802121
Coding: A8C307
Shop #: WSC 00049 770 00188
ASAM Dataset: EV_EPHVA18AU21X0000 003007
ROD: EV_EPHVA18AU21X0000.rod
VCID: 0603FB44B9CC61729A-8052
</blockquote>Looking at ETKA, there is only one control unit for the Q3 parking aid which has rear parking sensors only (Part No 8X0 919 475 AE) and 4 control units for front and rear parking aids (Part No 8X0 919 475 AD, AF, AG, AH). Perhaps yours has the AE module).

My one (8X0 919 475 AB) seems to be specific to the RSQ3.
