Hi there. Found the pictures, so this thread is now full again. Hope it helps someone. PDF is missing tho, so I cannot help with that.

I've been so busy that I haven't done any mods lately. Ordered some 9000lumen leds for fogs and now I'm getting RS pedals, but that's about it.

Later this month I'm gonna get APR software, about 200kW after that and winter coming. :)

Hi DyyDThanks for restoring the pictures. For the RS pedal covers, I'm sure you will know the Skoda Yeti 'sports' pedals are identical and much cheaper than the Audi parts. For the UK however we don't have the option of adding the RS footrest as the Audi LHD version does not fit our cars.Just had a look on the APR web site and the engine upgrade sounds exciting.

Cheers Spike

Hi!

Thanks spike for the info. I didn't know about the RS pedals. I need check it out. Full set pedals with footrest is about 95 euros from eBay. :)

For RHD pedal sets the Skoda kit was almost half price compared to the Audi equivalent. Ref this post - I was not totally convinced the kits were the same, so played safe and bought the Audi one. Having since compared part nos of the actual throttle pedal, for RHD at least, they are identical.

Cheers Spike

Comparing set that you have found and what I have found, OEM's are just 15% more. I will play safe too and order OEM's.

Note: CANbus is divided to multiple areas, you can't use every CANbus you can find for RVC.
It needs comfort CANbus lines.

The Kufatec instructions which come with their wiring loom recommend the CAN wires are spliced into the existing ones on the 20 pin CAN gateway connectorusing solder or crimped connections.

Best firm I found was HazyDayz from St Albands they were brilliant they work on all sorts of premium cars. Easy to recommend.

Hazzydayz are the company most Audi dealers use to retrofit parts, they fitted the rev cam to mine before collection (it was a pre-order without rev cam and I said that was a deal breaker).

Happy 2017 every one ;-)
This will be the year I will be courageous enough to attempt to add folding mirrors (http://www.q3ownersclub.co.uk/forum/retrofit-power-folding-mirrors_topic1974_page1.html) and the reverse camera to my 2016 Q3.
I decided to do the camera first and purchased:
-http://www.ebay.ca/itm/192058884979?_trksid=p2057872.m2749.l2649&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT - EUR 190 + EUR 20 shipping-https://www.kufatec.de/shop/en/Audi/Q3/Q3-8U/APS-Advanced-Rear-View-Camera-Harness-Audi-Q3?info=7244 - EUR 71-http://www.audiusaparts.com/oe-audi/8u0035209 - EUR 46-http://www.ebay.ca/itm/272303820949 - EUR 8
I have radio removal tools already so I think I am all set.
Total parts and tools EUR 335 (or CAD 475).
Just have to wait for the parts to arrive and the weather to get warmer (we have a cold one here in Ontario right now ;-) ) so the plastic trim will be less brittle and more malleable and easier to work with.
I will follow the instructions posted here and will keep you posted on progress and success. Wish me luck.
Cheers and again happy 2017.
Alex
