I do prefer the other wheels though i will admit the like cheese wedge ones look lots better if anyone knows of a set lol
Feel the same way about the wheels, didn't want to say anything obvs! Something about them just looks better although there are Matt black as well as silver in the 5 blade version.

It came guys looks great drives great a few niggly things though. When the salesman arrived it had the check pads yellow warning which he has offered to pay for parts and labour to put right but the car feels fine. And the lack of exhaust noise was a bit of a let down for an rs product. The car looks a bit mucky so will post pics post wash tomorrow. One thing i saw in history from audi is cambelt 75000 miles? I thought the 2.5 lump was chain? Thanks guys apart from that a happy new owner 馃ぃ

You would think the dealer would have sorted any warning lights before letting you as a customer near it
This wound be a perfect time to stick the EBC redstuffs on... Approx 拢200 quid for the fronts or 拢60quid for rears I think off the top of my head.... Can't you screw another 500quid off the deal and sort yourself ;)

The exhaust is a little underwhelming yes in normal drive mode... Hence why some of us went down the Cete AVC route... If you take it for a spin in Sport mode, the sound you get from exhaust is the same under normal drive mode when fitted. You don't get pops and bangs on overruns but does make a difference I think overall. Your looking at about 4/500 quid tho so not cheap.

No cambelt on these, it's a timing chain.

To be fair it came on on his journey down so i kinda get that and he was open and honest to take the repair on the chin yeah good thinking. Yeah was hoping for a naughty pop in dynamic and s box 馃槶 i think i will do a subtle exhaust mod maybe PCW he did my e92 amazing! And looked stock. Ahh great no cambelts to worry about phew

It may have come on on the way up but they certainly can't have done any prep to miss the low pads and i hope they are aware that the offer to repair could run into a fair amount if the discs need doing too!.....you have it in writing I assume?
It is a wear and tare item though so no reflection on the car as long as everything else is pukka then congratulations and welcome to the club(y)

Don't fret about the cambelt change warning, blame the dealer. Both our Audis are TFSIs, both with timing chains, and both received summonses from our local main dealer to have their cambelts changed. Had I the time to arse about with them I'd have booked them in, just to see the looks on their faces. I had to make do with a caustic phone call instead.
