Not saying anything about the handling, it's the feedback and steering. The alfa smashes the audi in every conceivable way, it's just so much better to drive. I don't really consider the RSQ3 an suv, it's more of a hatchback on stilts. Too tall to be a proper hatchback and too low and small to be a proper suv. But I get what you're saying. The alfa doesn't get the rave reviews for nothing, I promise! The Stelvio Veloce is a contender for our next shared car, let's put it that way. None of this or the mini review are harsh criticisms of the q3 to be fair, I have a place in my heart for the q3, it's a great little car if mainly for the engine, so much character and hammers the alfa's 4 pot in terms of sound and engagement, it's just literally everywhere else that the alfa beats it.

@1991 - don't think I'd get an sq5, as the car will never really solely be for me, it'll always be my wife's main car (she's 5ft on a good day) so the q3 is a great size for her. However, a friend of mine and my brother in law both have one and they LOVE them. I've never driven one so I wouldn't dream of putting an opinion on one. Best bet is to find a dealer that has both and test drive back to back 👍

Regarding the TDI box, not had it on a dyno but it's easy enough to switch off as I have the Bluetooth model. I can do immediate back to back comparisons and the mid range is daft when it's put to the highest setting, in anything other than bone dry conditions it lights the rear wheels up in second and third really quite easily. Tyres are stock ditch finders though so that's no surprise, but the take home is that TDI tuning make quality products and I can vouch for the effectiveness. You should be able to buy a used one and have it reprogrammed for the q3, but not sure of the cost effectiveness so worth researching new price versus used unit & reprogrammed cost via TDI. Also be careful to make sure the unit is suitable as they do vary from one engine to another, most are just two sensors though.

TBF...I can't think of a better car for ~£30k than a Giulia Quadrifoglio at the moment, there's nothing on the market in that segment that comes remotely close, it's an absolute masterclass! Funnily enough, within a month of buying the RSQ3 I was on a trip back from Wales and had a Stelvio Quad tailgate me on the motorway at about 90mph, he was a proper cocky looking old boy, he dropped a cog or two and flew past me at a dizzying speed and the sound was epic. So fair play to him 😂

Thanks for the help guys just bought a nice example for 22k 27k miles full audi and audi specialist history blue gets delivered end of the week not used approved but the mileage swung it for me i hope its trouble free audi used approved was same money but for 53k miles! Robbing gits

Well done fella, Blue would have been my preferred colour but beggers can't be choosers when buying second hand. 22k seem pretty decent to me... 27k is barely run in lol
Any mention of "packs" on the specs? There's a number of them, Storage, tech, LED light interior etc?

Sounds like a cracking deal to me. Nice low mileage for a 6-year old car, great colour, FSH too. Doesn't get much better than that.

As has no doubt already been said, check to see if the Haldex has been serviced (oil & filter) and if not get it done straight away - according to Borg Warner the oil should be changed and the filter cleaned every three years - it's an expensive way of discovering you have a 2WD car, not a 4WD, if you let this pass. There's also been a lot written on this forum about RSQ3 brakes - use the search facility for details if not already up to speed on this.

It'd be great to see a pic or two when your new beastie arrives.

Seems very good deal on what you’ve said👏🏻 I’m biased,but the blue i hope is Sepang Blue pearl,same as my car which I personally think is a must have. Wife hates it 🤣 If you have Bose,which sounds epic by the way,you will have the interior led light pack,which is nice,especially the “floating” front speakers. I have the carbon pack,like you,which looks good. As Spike asked,various packs could be fitted,I have the storage pack,with the little netted storage area in the boot,ski bag,cargo net,ski hatch,and storage nets on front seats,and cubbies under front seats. Also have the extended aluminium pack,though yours may have the “black pack”,which is also neat. Congratulations,look forward to the pictures in due course. Bet you can’t wait.

I take it it's the sepang 14 plate with rotors thats on autotader?
Looks a well looked after example with low mileage. Its missing a few of the nice options ike pan roof and tech pack but at that mileage its hardly been run in!

Cheers guys the box oil has just been done the brakes have been checked and are good ebc will be going on straight away i ran the vin and it just says bose really on the extras. Yeah its the sepang with the luggage pack which i have found out. Yes that one on AT hope its as good in the flesh arrives thursday

Rsq3 wheels are like rocking horse poo as you can imagine and when they do come up, they cost!
Rotors are a nice classic wheel

Everyone's driving characteristics are different depending on where and when you drive and for how long.
I do mainly around town in semi traffic and rarely get over 20mpg....I use momentum

98 Octane or better. As Ju says around town fuel disappears like the tank has a leak, on a fairly legal motorway run you can get to 31/32 mpg, the DIS (dash computer says porkies like 37.2). I had black rotors on my 1st (Sepang Blue) RS it's lovely wheel design and easy to clean. Fuel tank capacity is 64 litres.
