Autotechnics, Blandford Forum, Dorset - VAG Specialists - erWin Audi registered - Bosch Service Approved Garage.
2 years ago I bought a relatively low mileage but generally neglected example of a car I have wanted to own for 20 years, an Audi TT Mk1 Quattro Roadster. My days of tackling "oily" jobs on cars are over I'm sorry to say so I set out to find a reliable, independent Audi specialist and limit myself to the "cosmetics". By recommendation, I tried Autotechnics and Brendon and his team have systematically helped me to bring my "other woman" into tip-top condition. Their depth of knowledge is excellent with some "old school" Audi trained motor engineers.
3 years ago I bought a new Audi Q3 1.4 TFSI S line manual from my local Audi dealer and 15 months later I p/exed it for an ex-demo Q3 2.0TFSI Stronic Black Edition. I had a faulty upholstery warranty claim on the 1.4, a complete MMI failure and hatch actuator failure warranty claims on the 2.0. The litany of poor service was almost endless and I swore that I would never darken their doors for vehicle service by one of their "Technicians". The old expression "Fur coat but no knickers" sums it up.
I discussed my dilemma with Brendon, particularly not wanting to jeopardise any future warranty claims and he told me that they had just joined the erWin Audi system. This investment gives them the same access to the Audi "Big Boy" computer as an Audi dealership. So as long as Audi approved fluids and parts are used the cars digital service record is updated and it will not affect the warranty.
I can highly recommend Autotechnics. If you are further afield I recommend you seek out your own local "Brendon". The only very minor downside; no "coffee totty".
