on the tech pack it states that when the car is stationary DVDs can be played, but not when the car is moving. Question ; if the DVD does not display when the car is moving, does the sound from the DVD still ?

Yes it still plays the DVD sound - also does the same for any MPEG Videos you play on the MMI system - so you can still hear the music.
I think the screen actually switches the image off at about 4mph..?

Thank you Jules for the information. We have ordered the tech pack on our new Q3 and couldn't find any info re the DVD and to date the Dealer had not had a Q3 through withthe full tech packfitted, so could not confirm. So we can play say a DVD of a music concert, and still hear the sound whilst driving. Sounds good to me - sorry for the pun !! .... ps like your colour and interior leather combination.
