Does anyone know what % of tint the standard privacy glass is? I am thinking of getting mine done and want to replicate the original tint if possible.

It has 20% VLT ( visual light transmittance ) ie 20% natural light can pass through it.

Had the privacy tinting fitted this weekend as my 2nd hand Q3 didn't have it specced as an option. The firm was called Fusiontinting based in Wateringbury just outside of Maidstone. They were a bit rough and ready, their workshop was just a big shed and they were a real pain to find. This said, they did a really good job and I am pleased with the results - all in it was £240.00 for 80% tint of all windows rear of the front seats. Interestingly, Ifound out that Audi Maidstone use them for retrofitting window tints (no doubt with a hefty mark-up).
