This really caught me out this evening. I was doing no more than 28-30mph in a 30 limit and about 30-40 yards from a progressive bend (you can get round it at 45 comfortably if you wanted). This bend is just before home so one I negotiate almost every day. Approaching the bend the car just locked up the brakes and released when at about 5mph. Really caught me by surprise as there was absolutely no logical need for it. I will look into switching this off. I do get fed up of all this flaky tech in modern cars and the older I get I realise that cars such as the Dacia Duster appear to represent great value and you don’t get all the nonsense you really don’t want.
