sorry if this has been covered to death! (im in the TT forum and know it gets tedious)Were looking at a q3 quattro in white. Has everything fitted but no Nav.
Im hearing different things as to the cost and feasability of rettro fitting. Anybody done it?
The SD sat nav is easily retro-fitted but it has to be done by a dealer as the car has to be linked to the computers at Audi HQ to activate the system. I had this done shortly after buying the car as Crewe Audi had a good deal at the time. Having used it for some time, I would say find a way to hard-wire a decent Tom-Tom instead.
The HD sat nav involves much more (like the HDD in the boot and the MMI screen) so probably isn't sensible even if it's possible.
