Niiiiiiice! I know the S-Line is very popular but purely personally I still prefer the looks of the SE with the standard wheels and "kerb-proof" tyres.

Virtually the same as mine

I have added the chrome rings to the front fog lights and it looks so much better- Only cost about £10 off ebay and so easy to fit.

That's a very nice looking Q3 you've got there, by now you'll be appreciating the high comfort factor
Had mine over a year now and the wheels are still pristine and yeah i've rattled a kerb or 10 and been through a few pot holes!

Identical Q3 ordered. I think it's a great colour that suits
the vehicle. Our order has titanium interior with grey leather. I'm quite a fan of white cars and the demo Q3
we had was white but, for me, itdoesn'tquite work. Probably OK if you live in
California - but we live down a lane in rural Wiltshire !

So my thoughts were;-

Black – Drug dealer.

Red – Mid-life crisis.

Silver – So last decade.

Blue – Mostly black.

Orange – Love it, very “now” - but I couldn't persuade the OH. Also, I work
for a company whose name, logo and colour scheme are almost the same.

Brown – ummm …. it's beige
isn't it ?

White – Doctor on call.

Leaving …

Grey - Serious taste & understated style. Profession
person here. (Spot the black polo neck, thin rimmed glasses and copy of
“Architect Monthly” on the back seat). Ex –SAAB driver (true)

Having now tested the sense of humour of the forum all that
is left to say is that delivery is a rather vague reference to February - which
is double edged sword. Unless it comes (frankly unlikely) early January , I
would rather wait for the new 14 reg on 1st March.

Grey - Amorphous, boring monochrome, chosen as a safe option by people with no sense of adventure whatever.
Right, that's alienated just about everybody on the forum...

Nice to talk to another ex-SAAB driver - I abandoned them when they became nothing more than rebodied Vauxhalls - shame you'll not be around long enough to discuss it (or indeed anything else) further as before too long you'll be looking at flowers from the wrong side once the rest of the forum read this........as indeed will I. Been nice knowing you.

I too only had “real” SAABs.

I'm glad you took the post in the spirit was intended. Being
a newbie it's always interesting to find the level in a forum.

Sometimes you need to stir it up a bit otherwise you end up
with endless discussions about the best shaped gear knob.

No danger of that mate. I'm not discussing size of knobs - gear or otherwise - with anybody on this forum. They say harm can come to a young lad like that.

Having just taken delivery of a nice new Monsoon Grey Q3 this morning, I'm in a good mood - fortunately for you, Gromit

Your(some would say)opprobriouscommentsare expunged in my eyes due to the reasons for not ordering orange given above.Besides, I wouldn't want it becoming common

I had to admit defeat on the small technicality that it is to be my partner's car and she is paying for it.

Hmmm..... I would suggest that in this case the word "small" is a relative term. As for "technicality" I assume Herself isn't reading this forum, for your sake.
