Not sure what this is,
1 is it just a bulb blown
2 can it be turned off

When the auto lights come on on dip beam, when you turn the steering wheel, the warning comes on the dash , left adaptive light failed and then when you turn right is says right adaptive light fail, not bothered about them can they be discouraged or is it a bulb

Not come across this issue on a Q3 but on older Audi models it's often the wiring to the motor which rotates the light unit that fails -

Can't be a bulb as the system utilises the normal headlights which are still working.
Also seems strange that both sides fail at the same time so it would be worth checking to see if the 'cornering' motors are controlled by a common fuse

Might also be a coding glitch. Some VAG group models use the fog lights to offer a left or right hand illumination.
