Being a fellow shortarse (5' 6" and a bit) I'm borderline - I can manage without but it'd be easier with, I think. One useful tip is to open the doors and stand on the doorsills to get at the far reaches of the roof.

I’m 6’3 and can just reach if the brush has a longish handle.
My old X3 was huge and needed steps.

I find leaving the door open fills the car with water from the hose. 😂 ;)

Brush! Hope it's not the yard brush lol.
I'm 6'3" too and can reach the middle just fine with a wash mitt and no steps 👍

I can if I want to enter a wet tee shirt competition
A pukka Halfrauds extension handled car soft brush.
Let’s face it, the cr*p that hits and sticks to the car is probably way worse than anything a brush could do to it.

Yes me too, 5' 9", and that's for a F3 RS ! It allows me to stay back from the paintwork in case of scratchy zips, buttons, etc.

You mean you don’t use velour loungewear and soft shoes when washing the car?

I ended up buying one of these for cleaning the roof when I got mine.

I’m 5’10” and have no chance of getting anywhere near the middle of the roof without something to stand on. The hop-up seems more stable than step ladders to me.

Looks more stable than my steps. Might have to invest in some.
