HiI know there's a place in Hull that will program the door mirror's to fold on locking but does anyone know if there's a place in Lancashire or a bit nearer than the other side of the country that will do it ?
Hi Folks,
Been down this road along with lots of others. It ispossible to have the mirrors fold with the key fob, Audi will not activate this as its hidden in a secret menu in the diagnostics. Check out myprevious threads under " Folding Mirrors the solution!!!!"and all will be revealed. Hope this helps.
ps, Hannu, have just looked for specialists in your area and found this company, gather you've already checked them out. http://www.vwaudispecialistpreston.co.uk/Edited by: Richsherman
Hannu- A few years ago I used Carford garage in Preston to change the cam belt on my A4 cabriolet. They are a VW/Audi specialist, so may be able to help you.
Can anyone advise how to set the auto dip on the passenger door mirror with the gearbox in reverse.
The best I can get is so minimal its not worth the effort. Reading the handbook has not helped at all. Probably it's me not understanding.

Hi Heritage, you have to put the car in reverse and then adjust the passenger side mirror to your parking position (so you can see the kerb) and that it.
To activate it, you need to keep the mirror dial pointed towards the passenger mirror. I keep mine pointed there unless it it is the fold postion or in the heated one.
then when you select revers it auto dips and when you move forwards (I think over 10kph) it moves back to normal
I thought this was the procedure that I had followed, but without success. Better have another go. Thanks

I had mine done on recommendation from this site. I got them done at http://www.hazzydayz.com/Quick turn around and no issues since. Great to stop the wing mirrors being knocked off. You can still use the switch as well.Tim
