I've always wondered with these long term test - do the likes of Audi supply them or do AE go to a regular dealer and buy one?

Take a look at this shot, underneath the number plate it says press office so this car was supplied by Audi...http://www.autoexpress.co.uk/front_website/gallery.php?id=488356Most dealer demo cars were well specced SE's.

Just a general point about the reviews. Basically the only recurring negative point about the Q3 seems to be the "styling". Reviewers, and Evoque fans (and AutoExpress) seem to be preoccupied with the need for everyone to look at them as they drive along. Then, on Autotrader, they criticise the SLine because the "styling" is a waste of money..... So suggest the Basic SE is the best choice....

And at answer your question, Del, maybe their SLine is on order, but is for some reason delayed....

I think the looks of a car are a very personal thing and I certainly don't think there is a looks issue with the Q3. People havecriticisedporsche for years saying each new 911 looks the same but I think they are beautiful looking cars and certainlywouldn'tsay no to one!
