Hi all,

My new Q3 I ordered started its build week on Monday 27th Sep, any idea how long from build week it can take to receive car? I’m based in London.

Need to get the timing right on selling my current Q3….

WBAC have offered £1500 more than Audi dealer and Motorway have offered £3k more (both online quotes)…. Will be interested to see if Audi dealer will move on the original part exch. price offered now to match either offers…

Appreciate any info

Cheers

Mine was build week 35, 30th August and took delivery on the 23rd of September but think this was particularly quick, arrived at port in Emden and went straight on ship to Grimsby pretty much.
Audi CS on Twitter will advise progress if you sent them the Sli number

Mine was build week 33, left the factory 19/20th August and arrived at the dealers 2.5 weeks later.

I have known it to take up to 6 months for a specialist Audi. For standard models it can be anything from 2 to 4 weeks. The train will not leave Gyor for Emden until it is full ish, the ship will not leave for the UK until it is full ish. Then it unloads in the North then the South of England. The car transporter does not leave the docks until it is full. Once it gets to the dealer they do the PDI and turn it around as quickly as possible to reduce as far as possible any dealer cash flow issues.

The market is just nuts. A couple of weeks ago WBAC offered £39625 for my 6000 mile Edition 1. Today I received an email stating they had increased their valuation so I checked it out and they’re now offering £41000 !!! (6200 miles)

Off on holiday this weekend but might just see what’s on offer when I get back including Motorway. Given I’m not going to need a car much between now and year end for various reasons we could go down to one car for a few weeks whilst I search something out that I have my eye on……

At this rate you could easily afford an R8 by the end of the year.

Hmm... it ought to be quicker than that - after all, it is all downhill... ;)

I have a Q3 SLine 40tfsi on order with the same build week as yours and I think we're in the same boat (excuse the pun :ROFLMAO:). Mines been sitting at the docks for the same amount of time. Hopefully they arrive in the UK next week!

I ordered my RSQ3 Sportback on the 24th of June and quoted build week 38, surprisingly that changed to week 36 and was in fact built in week 37 (a few days ago now). I spoke with Audi today and told its at the docks awaiting a ferry, it could be here in the north east in 3 weeks but could take as long as 5.
Given the random nature of car builds I’m more than happy to get it so soon.
He told me that sportbacks appear to be coming out faster than the standard ones and depending on engine spec that’s also a big factor.…. really though who actually knows???
Suffice to say I’m struggling to type with everything crossed 🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻

The gap between WBAC's online quotes and their actual offers will be a shock if you actually visit them. Their assessors are trained to knock thousands off their initial offer.

WBAC - I can imagine that the £51,430 they are quoting (more that it cost a year ago) would evaporate if I physically took it to one of their sites.

I did take my Edition 1 to WBAC and they never knocked a penny off but the dealer matched their price so ended up trading in.

WBAC did buy my mums Seat Arona for £900 more than dealer offered, only took £50 for minor stone chips but I hadn’t declared any damage when getting a quote so was fair enough really
